What an amazing weekend for wildlife in Normandy!
I set up my camera trap in the field and this video shows 5 species of mammal that visited during just 1 night!
Other wildlife highlights on the Easter weekend included:
1 Black Woodpecker - in the field, plus the 3 local woodpecker species;
Signs of bird migration such as the first Swallows, Blackcaps and even an early Hobby;
Plenty of Alpine and Smooth Newts in the pond (too early to be spawning yet);
1 Fire Salamander - in the local woods (unfortunately a roadkill, but the 1st one we've seen here);
Lots of Daffodils still in flower plus Primroses attracting first Buff-Tailed Bumblebees of the season.
